OMG!!!  Is this not the cutest thing that you ever saw?!?!  Melanna over at Rhapsody of Cacophony is giving this away for Blog-A-Pal-Loosa Day 2!  Hurry on over and check it out!!!  Remember...come back tomorrow to see more FABULOUS GIVEAWAYS!!!
Pink Lemonade Apron and Chef Hat

                              with matching Recipe Cards

A 4T (ish - it could probably fit 3T-5T quite easily since it's adjustable), easy on/off (yeah velcro!) chef hat and apron set, hand made by me. The pink fabric has little tiny polka dots on it that don't show up on camera, so I think it's even sweeter in person.

Oh and of course this will include some matching recipe cards, because every new chef has to start her recipe collection at a very young age!

4 years old…already?

My little girl turned 4 two weeks ago.  I say this every year, but I wonder how come life seems to be flying by so quickly.  Anyone who knows me well knows that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the little ones.  It saddens me to see my little ones grow up so fast.

She has the cutest and sweetest personality.  She is always saying something funny!  I love that about her!  Such sweet innocence!

One of my favorites lately is to hear her say, “Mama, I want to wear a BEAU-TI-FUL dress!”  She exaggerates the BEAUTIFUL part!  Of course, I eat this up!  I love to doll her up in cute girlie clothes!

So of course my little princess had to have a Disney Princess Birthday Party!  At her request, she wanted a princess cake.  Goodness, I have noticed that the cakes tend to get more involved each year!  But, I would do it again to listen to and see her expression when the cake was complete!

“Oh Mama, I LOVE IT!”  All morning long she watched and asked when she could put the princesses on the cake.  She was super excited when I told her it was time for her to put the princesses on.

Here is the finished castle cake.

I used the Wilton Castle Cake set.  This was a first, but I was not sure I would be able to pull off a standing castle without it!  I was happy that it turned out so cute!

Fun Flower Art

This is a fun art project that I have been letting my Kinder kids do this week.  I posted about using old warming trays last summer.  It is great fun for the kids to watch the crayon melt on their papers!

They have turned out so cute!  I have also found that some of my Kinder kids are very artistic.  I had one little girl shade with a white crayon, it turned out so neat looking!

First of all the kids colored their flower picture using the warming tray.  After letting the crayon dry for a few minutes, I had them use watercolors to paint the background blue.  FYI— I would definitely use construction paper if possible.  The crayon can leave a waxy residue on the warming tray.

Here are a few examples:

White Chicken Enchiladas

I am sad that my Spring Break is coming to an end.  It goes WAY too quickly these days.  I always have such great plans of what I am going to accomplish.  I truly did get quite a few things done, it is just never enough!

Anyway, it is funny how I am much more motivated I am to cook dinner at night when I have not spent my day chasing around 5 yr. olds!  Usually by the time I get home cooking dinner does not sound all that appealing!
