Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for…

Cooler Weather

I am so thankful that we are experiencing cooler temperatures here in Arkansas!  It makes me so much happier during recess duty!  I am just not a HOT weather chick!

How is the weather where you are?

Thankful Thursday #6

I am Thankful for...

Carefree SUMMER DAYS!

I have enjoyed being at home and hanging out with my kids this summer!

I love not having to be on a rigid schedule!

I love going to the pool in the mornings and just hanging out in the warm sun!

I love not fixing my hair everyday...yea..for ponytails!!

I love having the chance to blog and craft more often!

I love having the time to take my kids to library story time!

I am sure that I could keep going, but those are the main ones! What are you thankful for today?

Thankful Thursday # 3

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Yet, another BIGGIE that I am thankful for! I have the privilege of taking my son to school with me! He is in Kindergarten this year. For those of you who do not know; I teach Kindergarten! I know that most first time parents are terrified of letting go and leaving their babies all day. I am thankful that I know and love each of the 4 other K teachers!

I am so very thankful for my son's K teacher! She is wonderful, caring, loving and firm when needed. She has undoubtedly been the best thing for him! He loves and adores her, which is even better!
Remember this week to THANK a teacher! No gifts needed...just kind, sweet words of appreciation... the BEST gifts a teacher could ever receive!

Thankful Thursday

Can you believe we are already to Thursday again?!?! Seriously...where does the time go?
Anyway..Thankful Thursday!

I admit that these post on Thursdays will be good for me! I am guilty of running through my days and weeks and not acknowledging and/or appreciating all that I have. I have a loving husband and two wonderful children. My husband Jason and I have been 7 years and 2 months. We have had our ups and downs (like all couples), but we are very committed to each other and our children! We have a 3 year old little girl named Kylie and an almost 6 year old boy named Landon. Both have a fun, loving and energetic spirit! Really, these 3 people have totally changed my life for the better! I am so thankful to have them in my life!

This post reminds me of a children's book that I read to my Kindergarten kids around Thanksgiving. It is about a mom that is thinking about all the things that she is thankful for. Her little girl asks her,
"What is your most Thankful Thing?"

The short version--- Both mom and young daughter are looking through moms scrapbook.. and with each major event in moms life her little girl asks her mom..."Is that your most Thankful Thing?"
Mom always replies that "No, That is not my MOST Thankful Thing." Mom replies this way until she gets to the birth of her daughter. This time mom replies that her most thankful thing was when her daughter was born.

With that said...
My most Thankful Thing is definitely my two kids and my husband!
(okay..so that is 3 things..but hey 3 are always better than 1!!)
