I bought these knee high socks in the women's department at Target. I have seen several people make baby leggings out of these. I have been wanted to try this fast, little project for some time now. I thought these would be cute for my daughter to wear under her denim skirt.Since they had hearts on them, I thought they would be perfect for Valentine's Day!
I apologize for the picture quality. My camera cards are full, so I had to use the camera on my phone.
I started by cutting across through the middle of the heel. I ended up cutting a little more off to make the sock a little straighter.
After cutting the socks, I turned the sock inside out and hemmed it. I had a little trouble sewing on this type fabric, so they are definitely not perfect!
This is the finished product.
I think they turned out super cute! I know that these are called baby leggings, but they fit toddlers too!
